FAQ:
Q/ How does the commission process start?
A/ The process begins with a consultation where we discuss your vision in detail. This can be done in person, via Zoom, or through email. We'll cover dimensions, inspiration images, and color palettes.
My work is not made-to-order; each piece is unique and reflects your personal style. You’ll select every detail, from the fabric to the framing, to ensure your artwork is one of a kind.
Q/What happens after the consultation?
A/ Once we have a clear vision, I’ll provide a short agreement summarizing the commission details, along with an invoice for a 50% deposit. Payment methods include ACH, Debit, Credit Card, and PayPal.
Q/ What should I expect during the creation process?
A/During the creation process, I’ll keep you updated with progress photos and important updates. Lead times typically range from 4 to 12 weeks, depending on the complexity of the piece.
Q: What happens when the artwork is complete?
A/Once your artwork is finished, I’ll send photos of the completed piece. At this stage, the remaining balance will be due. Shipping costs are invoiced separately and depend on the artwork’s dimensions, weight, and your location. For clients in Florida, professional installation can be arranged for an additional fee.
Q: How is pricing determined for commissions?
A/Pricing depends on the intricacy of the design, materials used, and framing preferences. The minimum size for a commission is 18"x18", with a starting budget of $1,100 to $1,500. Custom quotes are provided during the commission process to ensure your vision is captured.
Q/ Can I see progress updates during the process?
A/Yes! I’ll share progress photos and updates throughout the creation process so you can see your piece come to life.
Q/Are shipping and installation included?
A/Shipping is invoiced separately based on the size and weight of the piece, as well as your location. Professional installation can be arranged for Florida-based clients at an additional cost.
