Land O’ Lakes

Over the course of three years, my client commissioned three unique artworks, each crafted to complement different spaces in her home.

The first piece, Labor of Love, was a 36” x 60” intricate floral composition framed in dark wood—one of my earliest large-scale works. A year later, she commissioned a 36” x 36” Capiz shell artwork for her bathroom, created from hand-cut, heat-manipulated shells and framed in a white float mount. The third piece, Hydrangea, a 15” x 58” artwork for her bedroom, was designed to sit above her bed, adding a quiet yet striking presence to the space.

Each piece was distinct in scale, material, and style, yet all were chosen with the same intention. As my client put it, “I want to decorate my home with things I really, really love.” And later, after seeing them all come together, she shared, “I am so happy I get to adorn my home with your art.”
