The Coast, Tapestry Collection by Hilton

When Kalisher reached out with a commission for Coast Rehoboth Beach, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, they were looking for something refined yet organic—an artwork that would complement the hotel’s coastal setting.

The request was for an 11” x 27” piece featuring white Turritella shells on a classic linen backer, inspired by one of my previous designs. To ensure the composition fit the space seamlessly, I presented three layout options, each offering a subtle variation in movement and flow. Once the final design was approved, I got to work. The process was meticulous, but the result was worth it—a textured, layered composition that feels effortless yet intentional.

After final approval, the artwork was shipped for custom framing and is now installed at Coast Rehoboth Beach. It’s always exciting to see my work become part of spaces where people come to relax and unwind, and this piece now quietly enhances the atmosphere of the hotel, bringing a little bit of the shoreline indoors.
