Commissions

Whether you're an interior designer, collector, or art advisor, every commission is a collaborative process. Some draw inspiration from past works, while others are entirely original—but each piece is crafted with the same dedication, creativity, and attention to detail.

With a thoughtful and seamless approach, I guide you through each step, ensuring the final artwork is not only personalized but also deeply meaningful.

Interior Designers and Art Advisors- Site specific commissions are welcome. Please reach out directly.

The Commission Process

DREAM

The first step is determining the right size. I also welcome any inspiration you’d like to share—whether it’s a past piece of mine that speaks to you, a particular shell pattern, or a specific color palette. The more details you provide, the better I can tailor the design to your vision.

ENVISION

Once we refine the concept, I’ll create a digital mockup or loose layout to bring the vision to life. A commitment fee is required to begin this process, which will be applied toward your deposit if you decide to move forward. Once approved, your deposit secures the commission, and the creative process begins.

CREATE

With timelines set, I start by sourcing materials before shaping your piece. Each artwork is crafted with care, and depending on size and complexity, commissions typically take 8-12 weeks to complete to your personal style and preferences.

REVEAL

Once finished, I’ll send detailed images of the artwork for your review before preparing it for delivery.

DELIVER

After the final balance is received, your artwork is carefully packaged and shipped. If needed, professional installation can be arranged.

From Concept to Installation

With experience in both private and commercial projects, you can trust that every step— from design to installation—is handled with care and expertise. Explore the case studies below.

FAQs

  • Once I receive your inquiry, I’ll reach out within 48 hours via email to discuss the details. We can continue the conversation over email or schedule a call if you prefer.

During our discussion, we’ll go over your vision in detail, including size, style, color preferences, budget, and any inspiration you’d like to share. If we’re the right fit to work together, I’ll request a $500 commitment fee to begin the design process. This fee covers the time spent creating mockups and refining the concept and will be applied toward your 50% deposit if you move forward with the commission.

  • Pricing is based on size, materials, and design complexity. Commissions start at $2,000, with most clients investing between $3,000- $6,000 per commission. Custom Quotes are provided after the consultation.

  • To begin the commission process, a $500 commitment fee is required. This ensures that the design process is personalized to your project and that you’re fully invested in creating a custom piece. If you decide not to proceed after the mockup stage, the commitment fee is non-refundable, as it covers the time and effort put into designing your artwork.

  • Before I begin, you’ll approve a concept or mockup. Minor adjustments may be possible early in the process, but significant changes after work has started will require additional costs.

  • Each project is different, so shipping is tailored to the specific artwork and destination. Some pieces require custom crating, while others can be safely shipped in a corrugated cardboard box. For larger or more delicate works, I may recommend a fine art shuttle service. There are multiple shipping options available, and we’ll determine the best method based on your location and the artwork’s size and requirements.
