This custom shell artwork may have traveled across the country, but its journey started in my home studio in Florida.

Measuring 24"x72", this piece from the Fanella series was created for a collector in California. A longtime Instagram follower who had been watching my work for years. She’d seen it all: the early commissions, the experiments, the growth. When I shared this piece, she messaged right away. It was the one she’d been waiting for.

The artwork itself is a textural composition of natural shells, arranged in soft organic patterns that echo the movement of the ocean. The shellwork is framed by a 5-inch natural linen border and encased in a custom bronze frame, giving it a modern, sculptural feel that works beautifully in a coastal setting.

Up close, the detail is intricate and dimensional. From across the room, it feels serene and cohesive, like a landscape made of light and texture.

To get it safely to its new home, I worked with a private fine art shuttle. The artwork was picked up directly from my studio and delivered straight to the client’s California beach house. This kind of door-to-door shipping is one of the best ways to transport large shell artworks. It stays in one truck, strapped in securely, with only a few carefully planned stops along the route.
