Every once in a while, a project lands in your lap thanks to the magic of Instagram and this one was exactly that.

A client reached out after discovering my work on social media (thank you, glorious algorithm gods). They had fallen for my Wave series and wanted a custom piece for their home in Nantucket, a statement artwork that would feel modern coastal: elegant yet relaxed, just like Nantucket Island itself.

48x48 custom shell artwork from the Wave Series installed in a Nantucket hallway with art lighting above.

We landed on a 48"x48" artwork with flowing movement and tons of subtle texture. A composition that quietly pulls you in. It shipped safely with a courier and found its new home under a perfectly placed art light.

The client later sent me photos, and wow—seeing it installed made my day. The way the light hits the shells, casting those delicate shadows across the linen backer? Simply stunning. It adds just the right amount of dimension to an otherwise minimalist space.

It’s everything I love about modern coastal art: clean lines, soft textures, and that effortless sophistication that makes a space feel complete without trying too hard.

From Florida to a Nantucket home, this artwork traveled far and found the perfect home.
